The demands on one's own inner stability are very high; especially in times of increased uncertainty and stress. The support of someone from outside can help to understand your own situation better, to recognize your own strengths and potential, to improve relationships and to solve conflicts. With the goal of increasing self-esteem and finding strength and purpose again, I work with people on a variety of topics, including: Anxiety, burnout, fear of loss or commitment, relationship problems, grief counselling, lack of self esteem, work-related stress, life transitions

At some point in our lives, we may feel stuck or face certain challenges. Sometimes we know exaclty what‘s wrong and other times we have the nagging sense that somthings feel „off“. Getting support from somebody on the outside can help you to understand more clearly what‘s going on and create new ways to think about yourself and your relationships with others. While I incorporate a variety of modalities into my work, I tend to focus on the here-and-now. Your past will come up so that we can uncover motives and feelings outside of your awareness, but I don‘t believe that spending years talking about Mom and Dad is the most effective way to help you. Instead I take a practical approach that allows you to understand what drives you and restricts you, and to identify more useful ways of being. The idea isn‘t to get bagged down in analysis, but to quiet the „noise“ that distracts you, so you can focus your energy on what‘s meaningful, productive and fulfilling. By uncovering the obstacles holding you back, you can learn to make better choices, turn goals into reality, and find a greater sense of peace in the day-to-day.

Work with me

Many people wonder what it might be like to come to therapy or counselling. I view a first session as a consultation - a time for me to get to know you, and for you to experience working with me. This is important because research shows that a very significant factor in a successful outcome is the relationship with the therapist - even more important than the therapy method used.

Please note that your health insurance will probably not cover the cost, as I am not registered with the public health insurance companies.

Price per individual session:
50 minuten - 120 Euro
My clients usually visit me twice a month

How many sessions will I need?
We will discuss the estimated treatment/counselling length in our first session. Depending on your present difficulties and your individual goals, we will work out a treatment plan, which will be reassessed in the course of the counselling. In general, most of my clients feel a positive change after approx. 4 sessions, regardless of their issue.
